Your feed ranks jobs on your experience level, certifications, location, the companies you follow and how recent the job is.

  • Filter by job type, experience level, pay, date posted and distance, from 10 to 100 km.
  • Save the jobs you like and come back to apply when you're ready.
  • Non-Brixl jobs (Beta): more trade listings from outside sources, marked External Listing.

Apply in a few steps

Set up your profile once, then use it for every job you apply to on Brixl.

  1. Step 1: Complete your profile once

    Add your job title, experience level, certifications, location and résumé.

  2. Step 2: Answer the company's questions

    Some jobs ask a few screening questions. Answer them in the app.

  3. Step 3: Submit and follow along

    Your application lands in your list, where you can see its status.

Some companies take applications on their own website. For those jobs, Brixl sends you there, and you can mark the job as applied so it stays in your list.

Your notifications show what's changed: your applications, new jobs that match your profile, and news from the companies you follow.

  • Know as soon as an application is Moved On or Not Moved On.
  • Hear about new jobs that match your profile.
  • See new jobs from the companies you follow.
  • When a company moves you on, they can message you right in Brixl.

  • Work history your company has confirmed: Verified while you're there, Previously verified after you move on.
  • A portfolio of finished jobs, with up to 5 photos per project.
  • Your résumé (PDF or Word) and the certifications and licences you hold.

Questions from tradespeople

Is Brixl free for tradespeople?

Yes. Creating a profile, finding jobs and applying are free.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Brixl works in the web browser on your phone or computer.

What do Pending, Moved On and Not Moved On mean?

Pending means the company hasn't decided yet. Moved On means they want to move forward with you. Not Moved On means they've decided not to go ahead this time. You get a notification in the app when it changes.

Can I change an application after I send it?

No. Once you submit an application it is final, so check your profile and answers before you send it.

How does my work history get verified?

Add your current job and link it to your company's page on Brixl. The company's admins confirm you work there, and the job shows as Verified. When you move on, it keeps a Previously verified badge. Past jobs can't be linked after the fact.

Where does Brixl work?

Brixl is for the trades in Canada and the United States.

I used the old Brixl app. Can I keep my profile?

Sign up with the same email address you used before. If we find your old profile, you can set a new password and choose which details to bring over.
